Lowchen

With centuries of affection from the European elite, Lowchen are undoubtedly adorable. Their amusing characters and upbeat personalities make them irresistibly charming companions. Historically groomed to resemble little lions with a mane of wavy hair on their necks and heads, petting one’s soft coat will surely tempt you not to clip in this traditional style!

The Lowchen is an intelligent and inquisitive pup with a spunky spirit. Although they only reach up to 15 pounds as adults, these little ones are full of courage–they’ll take on any challenge! While this may be endearing at first glance, it also means that you must ensure their safety by keeping them away from potential harm. Otherwise your brave pal might find himself in trouble if he bites off more than he can chew (literally!).

The Lowchen breed was carefully crafted with intention to be a companion dog. This friendly pup should always live indoors, and is known for learning commands quickly; often excelling in activities such as agility and obedience trials. He brings good energy wherever he goes, having an upbeat attitude that allows him to get along well with other animals too!

The Lowchen is a friendly, spirited canine who loves to play with children and can easily keep up on vigorous walks. Although these dogs are not typically aggressive, they often alert their owners of an approaching stranger – which can be particularly dicey if you live in a bustling neighborhood or near noisy hallways. As such, it may lead to numerous false alarms along with excessive barking!

On the brink of extinction towards the end of the 19th century, Lowchen almost completely vanished from existence. But their lovable and genial temperament has charmed many throughout recent years, so much so that they are no longer as scarce nowadays.
