SUNSET DOG PADDLE at Simpson Lake…LAUNCH FROM BOAT RAMP, NOT BEACH

Join us for a leisurely paddle on Simpson Lake. Around the lake and up the creek, hopefully. It’s a good, safe, easy paddle. About 3 miles.

**B.Y.O.BOAT**

**DOGS** are welcome. Must wear life jacket at all times. Keep the leash on when you’re on land. Best to not use leash on the water. If you really need a leash, get a short (4′) one that floats, so it doesn’t get tangled in your dog’s legs if they fall/jump in. NEVER tether your dog to kayak!

Humans must have PFD on board. They work better if you wear them!

**We’ll launch from the BOAT RAMP this year. At least we will try that.** Too crazy at the beach, and all of that sand is so annoying in your kayak and car.

**Arrive a little early and be ready to launch around 6:30.** If you’re late, catch up. We’re easy to find…people in kayaks with dogs aboard. We try to launch at the scheduled time.

**DRIVING DIRECTIONS:**

Use meetup mapping or GPS. Park in spots along the grass, if possible. Center spots are for trailers.
