SATURDAY MORNING HIKE – Seward Park, Seattle, WA

Within the Seattle city limits, Seward Park boasts 300 acres of beautiful forest land, home to eagles’ nests, old growth forest, a 2.4 mile bike and walking path, an amphitheater, a native plant garden, an art studio, miles of hiking trails, shoreline, beaches and more.
Distance: 3.0-4.5 miles (outer paved loop is just under 3 miles, we may add mileage if we do inner forest paths, which is optional)
Elevation gain: minimal
Dogs allowed on leash.
Poop must be scooped and disposed of appropriately
As the fall turns to winter, the weather and road conditions can change planned meetups. Be sure you check the morning of an event to see if it is still happening.
Prepare yourself with good footwear (I suggest purchasing some yak traks or snotrax for your feet when it is snowy and icy).
