SATURDAY MORNING HIKE – MUKILTEO WATERFRONT (POSS JAPANESE GULCH)
August 20, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
Summer walks and hikes are starting earlier to beat the heat and the crowds. At this time of year, remember sun screen, water for yourself and dogs, as well, bug spray is a good idea. Never plan to leave your dog in the car while you run errands before/after or stop for lunch.
Mukilteo is revitalizing its waterfront. although not complete it looks like we can make a good walk of it. It is about 1 mile each way. The new ferry terminal is complete, there is access to Edgewater Park just north of it and a mostly completed walkway all the way along to light house park.
Parking is paid from lighthouse Park along front street and 1st. i suggest street parking above in the downtown business district.
There is the option to walk up to the dog park through Japanese Gulch for those that want a little more.
Park where you decide, but walk to our meeting place by old ferry terminal.
