What better way to safely walk off your stay at home calories then at the Arboretum. We’re going on Saturday, September 24th, as we love the Arboretum & can’t wait to go again; (*hope 2 see U before- this Weekend*) I hope U join us for this rare treat**To make our safe feel better beautiful in nature hikes even better & more meaningful, we’ve added some book & dog talk & brief optional art & meditation opportunities interspersed occasionally when there’s something really beautiful to see & to stop briefly & take in, discuss with others, sketch it if want, briefly meditate over its beauty if desire &/or take it in further with say a water break as well.**Come join myself & my friendly dog Bogie (Can bring guest(s) on September 24 at beautiful Arboretum to enjoy beauty, get safe social distancing with exercise, go on a small roadtrip or walk there (if you want company on your walk there-you can join Bogie & I) & get to have fun, more exercise & a nice walk to Arboretum, meet us at 12th & U,NW @ 11:25 am. If not, meet us at Arboretum @ 1 pm. (We’ll meet in front of the Visitor Center near flagpole & water) & enjoy good book talk & conversations, bond, exercise. You may bring a guest or 2 or 3 & a friendly dog(s). I can’t wait to enjoy the wonderful, beautiful Arboretum with great company of fab doglovers. If the Group wants, afterwards we can get drink/food outdoors @ nearby dog friendly place.

We’ll walk around the Arboretum & enjoy beauty, get some exercise & good book & dog talk. Thus treat yourself to a beautiful, educational hike in the National Arboretum, a remarkable hiking venue tucked away in NE DC. The hike will consist of a wind through an exotic, colorful, mildly hilly, & 446-acre landscape of woodlands, fields & history. Highlights include: flowering plants, river vistas, a former brickyard, discarded pieces of US Capitol Hill columns in middle of a beautiful field that resembles art, an exotic amazingly beautiful asIan garden with a pagoda & river view & more beauty.
Dirs & Info: Arboretum’s located in NE DC with parking. Join us 2 see areas most botanically diverse hiking venue. 2 entrances: 3501 New York Ave,NE &24th &R Sts off Bladensburg.
MEETING PLACE: if not meeting us to walk to the Arboretum: Use 24th & R Entrance & meet in front of Visitor Center near flagpole & water.
