ECHO BLUFF CAMPING AND KAYAKING
July 16 @ 1:00 pm - July 19 @ 3:00 pm EDT
A NEW THING FOR US, camping and kayaking and maybe hiking with our dogs.
More details to follow, just mark the date. We will need to reserve camp sites very, very early, like now (December). If you just sign up and don’t reserve a site or cabin, you will probably not be able to find one later.
Everyone will be responsible for their own reservations. There is a lodge and cabins, but most are not dog friendly. Most of us will probably be camping, if we have our dogs along. Either Echo Bluff campground, or maybe Pulltite campground….we’ll be floating from there.

We will either rent kayaks or bring our own and pay to shuttle them. Probably easier to rent. This river is shallow in spots, especially in July. Might not be the best place for inflatables, but that’s up to you.
This is a dog event. You don’t need a dog to attend, but understand that there will be dogs and they will rule our activities.
Food arrangements to follow, but plan on eating out a time or two, just so we don’t starve to death. If anyone knows how to coordinate a pot luck, please step up and help me here.
Communication is critical, please advise what you’re doing. Include where you’ll be staying (campground or lodge/cabins), if you have a dog, if you have to rent kayak or bringing your own. Whatever else we find pertinent as we go along
This is a new thing for me and our group. Advice from experienced dog campers is very much appreciated.
