
Dog Scouts 2022 Summer Camp Out 8/12-14

This will be our sixth annual camp out and we will be at the Huckleberry Group Camp site. Check in is 3:00 PM on Friday and check out is 11:00 PM on Sunday. We also welcome those who just want to come up for the day to participate. We will be offering training on the first aid badge, backpacking badge, and scent discrimination. We are still working on the schedule and will soon post an update on the date and times for the specific activities.
There are a limited number of spots for overnight camping in the group campground, so you need to contact us to save your spot by 08/10/2022, the cost is $35 per night which includes free overnight parking and if you just join our activities for the the day the cost is $10 per day and you will need to pay the county park day parking fee of $6.
You must camp over night to earn a camp out patch.

If you plan on working on your first aid badge, be sure to bring your first aid kit for your dog along with the items required to be in the first aid kit to earn the badge. If you plan on working on your backpacking badge, be sure to bring a backpack for your dog along with the items required to be in the backpack to earn the badge. And don’t forget to print out your backpacking log from the Dog Scout website to log your hike. If you have questions on this badge or purchasing a backpack post them here before 08/10/2022.
