Corgis at the Bloom (with Baltimore Corgi Club)
March 26 @ 11:30 am - 2:30 pm EDT

Baltimore Corgis and Capital Corgi Club are joining together for Corgis at the Bloom. All credit to Sarah as I’m pigging backing her planning here!
We will meet at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial at 11:30 am to gather. At noon we will begin to walk around the Tidal Basin towards the Ohio Drive Bridge and enjoy the view and photo ops of the Cherry Blossoms at near peak.
PARKING IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR CHERRY BLOSSOM PEAK IF WEATHER IS PERFECT. GIVE YOURSELF PENTLY OF TIME TO FIND PARKING. Please see cherry blossom festival info https://nationalcherryblossomfestival.org to find maps and event schedules. There are options to buy parking ahead of time so please do so if you aren’t willing to walk a good distance from day of available spots!
******** Notes to Capital Corgi Folks *********
Normal public dog gathering rules apply (puppies must be older than 16 weeks and fully vaccinated, no dogs in heat, no aggressive dogs). Please remember this is a pubic event at a public place and we cannot control how popular this time and place will be. Please encourage children ask for permission first to pet and don’t be upset if someone declines to let your kids pet. Use common sense when planning and attending and chose for yourself your own risk mitigation for covid 19 as I will not police a group of adult humans attending a mass public event. Bring non-retractable leashes and lots of poop bags/water as there are not a lot of facilities once you get out onto the Tidal Basin.
RSVP the number of CORGIS attending here on Meetup or Facebook group if you are not already a member of Baltimore Corgis to RSVP directly on their event page so we can try to get an accurate estimate.
We will try for a group photo at high noon before departing on our walk but you know how herding corgis into a group photo goes!
