Charcoal Burner, Old Mine Railroad

Old Mine Railroad, Charcoal Burners, a loop trail that takes you by a lake located near Putnam Valley, New York. 2.6 miles easy hike.
Bring bug spray and/or bug net.

Remember to bring plenty of water for your companion and yourself. Dress according to the forecast, don’t forget the tick protection!
There is a $3 meetup fee for this adventure to offset the organizer’s site expenses. Venmo is preferred.
If you decide to come with us, please be at the parking lot on time; some of your fellow hikers show up 10-15 min early to be ready and show them the respect they deserve AND PLAN AHEAD.
Stay with the group. If you wander off, decide to turn around, get lost the entire group will have to wait for YOU….and possibly go look for you… Don’t be that person.
This organizer reserves the right to add from the wait-list as I see fit. If you do not feel good, stay home! Frequent attendees with a good record of attending events they sign up for will be prioritized.
I do not bring more than 1-2 new dogs at a time.
Please let this organizer know if you are not bringing a pooch.
