Brackenridge Park & Beyond

Join the Nature Hounds for this all-activity-level stroll around shady Brackenridge Park and perhaps the surrounding areas such as the Japanese Tea Gardens. It’s one of our favorites!
Route is paved, partially shaded, and stroller friendly with trash cans along the way.
Short walk option 1.5 miles
Complete walk 3.5 miles
The starting point is at Lions Field Park on 2809 Broadway, right next to what used to be the historic “Kiddie Park,” across the street from Taco Cabana.
