A morning walk around George Washington’s Mount Vernon

The camel is back for the holidays!!!!
The grounds at Mount Vernon are dog friendly, so let’s take a morning walk around Mount Vernon. Humans will have to pay, but dogs are free. (adult grounds pass tickets are $26) Dogs MUST remain on leash and it’s NOT a formal tour — but we will go where ever we are allowed. You can go at your own pace or stick with the group. We typically walk down to the river, through the farm, through the forest, around the field and explore all the outside houses. The staff and historians love the dogs and are always eager to answer questions or share a information about George Washington and life at Mount Vernon.
